Conservative Grassroots Take Stand Against ACLU Buildup in America's Heartland

Who/What: Days ago the ACLU announced a whopping $335 million expansion plan into seven key states in America’s heartland including Florida, Missouri, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, New Mexico, Tennessee and Texas. The ACLU’s self-proclaimed agenda will threaten to change the landscape of these communities, affecting every citizen’s ability to express their faith in public, to hire employees based on their own conscience, and to protect their children from indecency.

Quote: “A major goal of the campaign is to substantially increase the ACLU’s presence and effectiveness from coast to coast. The ACLU [is taking] its affirmative agenda to the state and local levels...championing marriage equality in California and gay rights in Tennessee…fighting the introduction of intelligent design curricula…overturning abortion bans in Mississippi.”

Topics of Discussion: Kelly Shackelford, Esq., Chief Counsel of the Liberty Legal Institute and President of Free Market Foundation, is a leading Constitutional expert on freedom of religion and expression, having fought numerous legal battles against the ACLU in defense of marriage, veterans, internet filters and Bible courses. He has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court and is a frequent guest on national television and radio talk shows. From experience, he can speak to how any ACLU buildup will affect your audience’s families, businesses, churches and communities.

About Free Market: Free Market Foundation a Texas-based, pro-family group with both a legislative and legal division (Liberty Legal Institute). The force of legal experts is enlisting 10,000 Texans to help launch a counterattack against the ACLU’s infiltration and hopes other states will follow suit.

Liberty Legal Institute is the leading group in Texas defending religious freedoms and First Amendment rights for citizens, groups and churches. For more information on the Stop the ACLU in Texas campaign, visit www.libertylegal.org.
